What's the New Buzz & Excitement at Central OK ASTD?

This buzz & excitement is very real!  The central Oklahoma chapter of ASTD is flying off the chart this year. 

Here are just a few of the exciting things happening:

1. A new mission statement----it’s all about YOU!
Our new mission statement is designed with you in mind. After all, it’s all about helping you grow your career. That is why we are so excited about our new mission statement--  “To provide relevant programs, resources and networking opportunities for workplace learning professionals.”  Just being a member will greatly enhance your career! 

2. True top notch/high caliber program presenters
Our programs are truly going to the next level this year by providing lots of rich learning just for the workplace learning professionals. These programs will be very beneficial to you whether you are brand new in this profession or a seasoned professional.  Make sure you join us every month! 
 
3. Networking---deeper connections with peers
We are going much deeper with our networking opportunities. At every session you will be guaranteed to connect with several other learning professionals and learn new tips and successes that you can immediately implement back at your workplace.  Connections are important to our success, and our networking time will help you increase these connections!

4. Consistent same location every month 
Having a consistent and stable location is important to any chapter. Now we have one location for ALL of our functions this year. There is no need for you to wonder anymore where to go. We are also accommodating your schedule by offering lunch programs as well as the evening programs. Each quarter we will have two lunch functions and one dinner function (except July, our vacation month).  Each will be on the second Tuesday of the month. 
 

As your new president, I personally want to challenge you to come check out this BUZZ for yourself and see if this isn’t the best kept secret in OKC!
